Chess Pieces

I passed by an on-going chess tourney by Shell Philippines at SM Megamall. While reminiscing the days when I still had some chess moves in me, the images below attracted me to pull my Fujifilm Finepix A303 (which I think is no longer in production as I saw an A404 at just PHP 9,000.00 when I originally got my digicam for $313 two years ago. How much is it worth now? Sorry, I digress. I just hope I’ll be able to get me that DSLR I’ve been drooling over. - daydream sequence over -)

Photography critique: Some parts should not be there as they distract from the main objects(s), like the chair on the lower portion of the upper picture. Lesson learned.
