Cebu City is also known as one of the country’s finest guitar maker. Alegre Guitars is one of the well known guitar factory located in Lapu-Lapu City, Mactan Island. It is owned and managed by the Alegre family and they are one of the pioneers in guitar-making business. They are now on its third generation of sole proprietorship.

This is a very familiar classic folk song for us Filipinos. This song is a about a bahay kubo (nipa house) which was surrounded by many vegetable planted around the house. It is considered as an indigenous house here in the Philippines and they are still used today especially in the rural areas. This house has traditionally been constructed with bamboo tied together and covered with a thatched roof using either nipa or anahaw leaves.
